A block of ice
I thought I would dash off a quick note since I know EVERYONE is on the edge of their seats waiting for the next pronouncement of useless wisdom and art related NONSENSE from the blind swimmer. I think the cold weather the last week or so in NYC has frozen my brain, as I haven’ t found the motivation to post in a few days. I’ve actually had some things I look forward to writing about. Last Sunday I had a great evening at Pocket Utopia out in Bushwick with fellow art bloggers and we had a great chat about “Obama-Art” or musings on the direction of art in the new age of Obama. Or I should say, they had a nice chat, while yours truely sat quietly in the corner listening.
Unfortunately I’m a bit under the weather and foggy brained. In addition, believe it or not, it’s been quite busy these last few weeks at my day job, so I haven’t had a chance to sneak in any surreptitious blog posts, as I haven’t had any down time. Also, outside of the cubicle I have been working on some proposals. Alas, my silence is not from lack of ideas churning in my head or the world or from lack of want to blog away, but from these minor impediments that the world has placed in my path this week. Excuses Excuses I know. I hope to return to feeding this raging blind beast in a few days as things settle down and this cold in my head passes.
