pamela farrell, lacuna 3, encaustic on panel
Just came across Pamela Farrell’s work on artreview.com today (local jersey artist!!!). i am really drawn to encaustic. I love both the physicality of the medium, encaustic paintings have such luscious surfaces that draw me in. Also, the glowing luminosity and color of encaustic painting is wonderful. Anyway, Pamela has some interesting works, check out more at http://pamelafarrell.com
